Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse looking for a new position Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking experienced nurses to join our medical/rehab ward. We currently have a part time role available. You will play a key role within the supportive team in ensuring high level and standard of patient care is provided. About us Sunnybank Private Hospital is an evolving facility that has provided care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care. Recently undergoing a significant redevelopment, our facility has new consulting suites, operating theatres, day surgery, endoscopy suites, as well as refurbished surgical unit, day oncology unit. The facility is compromised of 122 in patient beds, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedures room and an ICU. As the Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include: Deliver quality-nursing care by Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating individual patient careProvide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environmentDevelop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communicationWork in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationshipsEssential Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRAMinimum of 5 years nursing experience in medical/rehabDemonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care and education to patientsHighly developed interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to ongoing personal and professional developmentDemonstrated experience providing leadership and education to the nursing teamDemonstrate professional development and a portfolio holderUnderstanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety National StandardsDemonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environmentFIM Qualification DesirableWhy Healthscope?
