We currently have 2 new opportunities for Clinical Nurses to lead and develop the clinical team at Bethanie Beachside, located in Yanchep, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our customers.
Bethanie Beachside is a 160-bed modern aged care home fitted with the latest in modern conveniences and has been designed specifically to create a homely feel for our customers & employees alike.
These roles are currently being offered on a Permanent Part Timebasis, working 3 days a week between Monday – Friday.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager this position will be an integral member of the senior management team, and vital to enhancing the customer experience whilst acting as role model to all employees. Responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership and supervision for the clinical team to ensure care and services meet residents’ expectations
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care to residents, which is customer focused and in accordance with the Aged Care Standards
- Assess competency of all clinical employees on an ongoing basis (including performance appraisals) and implement the necessary training and mentoring where necessary
- Establish professional relationships with all new and existing customers and their families to ensure the clinical team provide customer focused care
About You:
You’re a clinical leader with a desire to develop your team to be the best they can be. You genuinely care about your team and residents and enriching the ageing experience. You will also bring:
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant clinical experience in the Aged Care environment and understanding of AN-ACC and Care Minutes
- Demonstrated leadership to a multi-skilled team, with ability to motivate and inspire others
- Well-developed organisational and decision-making skills, including time management
- Excellent customer service skills, with a customer focused approach
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a range of difference stakeholders
- A flexible and enthusiastic attitude towards undertaking a variety of tasks, working independently and as part of a team
