This position has a work allocation within Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Service (NMERS). The focus of this position is the coordination, orientation, and support of undergraduate nursing and midwifery students on clinical placement at West Moreton Health.

About the role
The Clinical Nurse - Clinical Facilitator (CDF) plans, implements and evaluates clinical learning opportunities at a ward / clinical unit / workplace level to support clinicians to provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-focused services. Clinical Facilitators develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable education services to be available and accessible within the clinical setting.

- Demonstrate clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to this role.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the support of undergraduate students, assessment of clinical skills, and positive feedback frameworks.
- Demonstrate advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer.
- Demonstrate ability to act as a professional role model in supporting the professional development of others; applying evidence and best practice to patient care, establishing and maintaining relationships; and managing a range of tasks to support positive outcomes for the individual and workplace.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations
