This is an open-ended recruitment pool for suitably qualified Clinical Nurse applicants. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 October 2025.
Position Profile and Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical Nurses to provide high quality care to infants, children and young people in the community in a variety of areas. Exciting opportunities are available in CAHS – Community Health Services in the following areas:
- School Health: includes primary schools, high schools, Education Support units and enuresis support.
- Child Health:providing services to families and children including newborn home visits, developmental checks from birth to 3 years, and breastfeeding support
- Immunisation:delivery of the immunisation schedule from birth to 4 years or with a school-based immunisation team.
- Aboriginal Health Team:work with a multidisciplinary team providing primary health to Aboriginal children and their families
- Refugee Health Team: working with children and their families who are from a refugee background.
Opportunities are available in three regions – North, South and Central. You will be asked to nominate your preferred region to work.
About Community Health:
Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.
These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at Community Health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.

- Describe how you would use your communication and interpersonal skills to resolve a conflict situation with a client or carer? (Related to Essential Criteria 6)
