SalaryPalliative Aged Care Consultancy Service is excited to offer a position for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant specializing in Aged Care Mental Health to join our dynamic team. This role is a casual position, starting with approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow the role. The applicant must have the following traits.
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA).
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Mental Health Issues for Older People.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective, evidence based, recovery orientated assessment, intervention and Care Planning within an Aged Care Setting.
- Ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team setting and to liaise with relevant professionals.
- Demonstrated effective Time Management, Interpersonal, Verbal and Written Communication Skills and Computer Literacy.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in the comprehensive Assessment and Management of Mental Health Residents, including Assessment/ Risk Assessment/ Reviews and Counselling.
- A comprehensive understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
