About the Role:
The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant supports the Service Line to meet the requirements for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care: National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS)and other applicable Standards. This includes:
- Responsiblility for management of policies and procedures, quality improvements and Clinical Incident Management.
- Processing RiskMans, undertakes/is involved with Human Error and Patient Safety (HEAPS) analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as required.
- Guiding service improvement in alignment with recommendations.
- Working in collaboration with other Grade 7's to support the Clinical Governance Unit in overall efficient and effective management, benchmarking, maintaining standards and optimising patient/program outcomes.
