Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the General Paediatric Multi-Disciplinary Team (Medical, Nursing and Allied Health) to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of General Paediatrics
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of General Paediatric Medicine. The Clinical Nurse Consultant portfolio provides direct and indirect care for General Paediatric Inpatient and Outpatients.
The position will predominantly provide cross continuum care for children from birth onward who are accessing and receiving care from the general paediatric service. The role will also deliver innovative nurse led and/or enhanced clinics and other duties and tasks to support the General Paediatric Service to provide evidence based, high quality, safe, timely and sustainable general paediatric care to the children and young people under their care.
