The Health Independence Program funded continence service is an innovative multidisciplinary team who will welcome your fresh ideas and approaches. Working with one of the largest continence teams in Victoria you will have opportunities to work with and learn from a variety of health professionals including Geriatricians, Senior Physiotherapists, Clinical Nurse Consultants and a Dietitian in a supportive environment.
About Us
The Continence Service is an outpatient service within the Specialist Clinics. We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of specialist clinicians passionate about continence management. This is a unique opportunity for a Continence Specialist to join and work with our team, this position is open to either a Clinical Nurse Consultant or Grade 3 Physiotherapist, if you are an aspiring Grade 2 clinician with the relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you as well. The role is fixed-term, part - time for 6 months until September 2024. You will be part of the wider Monash Health service, with access to all the benefits that offers: professional development, broad and specialised clinical experience. You will be well supported by the wider Multidisciplinary team, offering autonomy and flexibility in your work.

- Experience managing complex continence clients across an episode of care
- Enthusiasm for working in a specialised multidisciplinary team
- Ability to supervise junior staff and contribute to peer based learning

What you need:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy – Continence & Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation or equivalent
OR
- Bachelor of Nursing - Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA with meeting regency of practice criteria
- Post Graduate Certificate in Continence Management
