SalaryOphthalmology Outpatient Department are looking for Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team. The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Ophthalmology Outpatients Department and Eye Casualty is one of two Ophthalmology clinics in Metro South Health. The PAH clinic serves the population from Beaudesert, Logan, Ipswich, Toowoomba and includes Western Darling Downs up to Chinchilla, out to Augathella and down to Stanthorpe & Goondiwindi. It stretches in to Northern & Western NSW for some specific subspeciality cares. At times it includes Torres Strait and Far North Queensland also. The service manages 35 OPD clinics and 15 theatres per week.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Ophthalmology. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider Ophthalmology health care team support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Ophthalmology.
