The purposes of the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Surgical Prostate Surveillance position is to work as part of the Urology multidisciplinary team in providing support and surveillance to prostate cancer patients through their cancer journey. The Prostate Cancer Foundation provides support and funding towards Professional Development activities and networking events. Skills and experience Proven ability to provide expert nursing leadership and coordination within a Prostate Cancer environment. Sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines and standards. Ability to integrate the strategic direction and priorities for quality improvement into the clinical service, establishing a quality framework. Demonstrated advanced leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and change management skills to ensure customer focused service provision amongst the multidisciplinary team.…
