The Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified & experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to support our ongoing efforts to promote growth and development within our Nursing service stream in our locations South and North Brisbane. The successful candidate will fit the criteria by delivering Nursing services including continence assessments, working alongside the intake, rostering & support teams displaying an exceptional understanding of and support to multidisciplinary team functionality.
This is a multi-functional role which will support business growth within the unit whilst delivering a high level of support and direction to teams working within our existing high intensity and complex support service areas.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor of Nursing & relatable experience gained within a community nursing setting
- Delivering & leading Nursing and complex care services within the NDIS, DVA or health sectors
- Existing, robust connections within the sector, capable of opening doors and creating new opportunities to support the strategic direction for our Nursing services
- Certified to conduct continence assessments
- Full registration with APHRA
- NDIS Screen Check & Working with Children Check, or unrestricted eligibility to obtain
- Open QLD drivers’ licence and own vehicle
- Up to date COVID vaccinations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and reference checks
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
- Previous experience providing training to support staff: Manual handling, lifting and hoisting, Diabetes, Wound, Catheter care etc
- Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Faultless clinical reporting and documenting ability
- Understanding of legislation impacting on Nursing practise
