Clinical Nurse Educator - Inpatient areas
- Grade 4A, up to 0.8 EFT

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Education Training Unit as part of our Inpatient Unit Educators on a part time, ongoing basis.
LRH has more than 300 beds and cares for a population of more than 290,000. We provide cardiac care, surgery, medical, renal, emergency care, aged care, women’s and children’s services, pharmacy, allied health and rehabilitation. It is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service based in Gippsland.
The Clinical Educator of the Inpatient Unit is part of a team who are responsible for motivating the workforce in the delivery of excellence in clinical and professional standards. Utilising their professional experience and knowledge of health education in the emergency setting, they work with the leadership team to drive learning / teaching programs and projects that support Latrobe Regional Health’s clinical and strategic objectives.

We are looking for candidates with:
- Registered Nurse, Division 1 with post graduate certification in relevant field (surgical / orthopedic experience desirable)
- Min 5 years experience in nursing
- Experience in education / mentoring others
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
