Lismore Alcohol and Other Drugs are seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to coordinate, deliver and evaluate clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level and provides clinical supervision in order to support development of evidence based, person-centred nursing care in line with the standards, policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health and other statutory authorities.
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and a post graduate qualification in a specialty related to Alcohol and Other Drugs nursing and/or Education
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment and adult learning principles including the design, delivery and evaluation of education programs
- Clinical teaching and facilitation skills including knowledge of competency assessment, decision making frameworks within the context of Alcohol and other Dugs Services
