Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing/midwifery staff, undergraduate and casual nurses/midwives as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing/midwifery staff. Provide clinical supervision at the point of care within everyday clinical practice, in line with the ANMC Decision Making Frameworks for Nurses and Midwives.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.All Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.SESLHD is committed to creating a workplace that reflects the diversity of our community. - Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience in sexual health or related field.
- Able to demonstrate effective skills in communication, organisation and time management.
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles).
- Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment.
- Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems.
