About Kawana Private Hospital
Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited multi-disciplinary hospital that provides four operating theatres to offer a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Our modern surgical facility includes a ward for patients who require a longer stay to recover. We ensure best practice standards through continuous improvement and regular staff education and prioritise a positive work/life balance for all staff. The facility is open Monday to Friday and hours may vary.
We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager-PACU/Ward to join Kawana Private Hospital on a permanent fulltime basis.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Registered General Nurse with APHRA registratrion
- Post graduate qualification nursing and/or a tertiary qualification in management
- 5 years in senior nursing or management positions
- Working knowledge of Industrial Relations Acts, regulations and other relevant statutory obligations
- Knowledge of contemporary risk management strategies which are effective in promoting and ensuring safe patient care
- Knowledge of the regulation of health care professionals
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Accreditation
- Understanding of contemporary clinical practice
- Knowledge of the ANMC Competency standards for Registered Nurses
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
