About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join us at our Ascot Home. This position will assist in providing overall leadership and management of onsite clinical and care service delivery, to ensure desired care outcomes are achieved for our 164 residents. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our residents are receiving best practice person centred care.
What You Will Do:
- Deliver and provide clinical care for all our residents in line with person centred care principles
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding, standards and policy protocols
- Show an ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision
- Understand the needs of older people, in particular those with cognitive decline
- Deliver on Clinical Governance reporting and requirements
- Maintain and adheres to quality systems and processes
- Ensure the Home is compliant with all standards as mandated by ACSQC
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Clinical Management role in Aged Care
- Passion for leading and mentoring staff
- Thorough understanding of aged care standards and accreditation processes
- Working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC
- Previous experience working in a memory support unit (advantage)
- Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement
- An energetic and happy disposition with a keen desire to lead by example
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Police check clearance, Work rights in Australia, COVID & Flu Vaccination
