About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with another Clinical Nurse Manager and our core care team, working Monday to Friday to ensure the highest standards of individualized support for our residents.
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that your clinical and care team consistently delivers exceptional person-centered care to residents. Leading a team of care staff, you will foster an environment of learning, support, and leadership aimed at elevating the quality of service provided to residents.
- Coordinate and monitor the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards.
- Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary health team to identify resident care needs, plan interventions and review outcomes of care.
- Responsible for providing clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to the Residents.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality and service improvement and provide leadership, guidance and support to your colleagues and team members.
- Develop and deliver specialized education resources for nursing and care staff to enhance staff knowledge and improve Resident outcomes
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent
- Experience working within residential aged care
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- An enthusiastic and organized approach to working independently and within multidisciplinary team.
- Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
- Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge in Palliative Care, Wound Care and Chronic Disease Management
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Influenza Vaccination or Exemption
- Covid-19 Vaccination or willing to obtain.
- Evidence of Australian work rights
