An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to join the team in various locations within Kimberley.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

To be successful, you will have...
- Demonstrated advanced nursing knowledge, experience, and skills relevant to Community Health and a demonstrated understanding of the Principles of Primary health and their application to practice.
- Demonstrated high level skills in communication, conflict resolution and working with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, staff management and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external agencies at a local, metropolitan, and state level as required.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate nursing policies and protocols pertaining to standards of Nursing Practice and lead multidisciplinary quality improvement projects.
Position Profile:
Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care. Develops standards of management practice, implementing changes to practice and leading quality improvement activities. Provides a consultative service within areas of expertise. Provides human and material resource management within assigned clinical area/s. Demonstrates professional leadership and role modelling for nurses and other Health Professionals.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months (WA Country Health Service - Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program).

WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberley consists of six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community Directorates and a Corporate Office. WACHS Kimberley provides hospital, Community Health, public health, remote area health, community aged care, and mental health services across the region through a dedicated team of medical, nursing, Aboriginal health, allied health, and support staff.
