We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the Community Specialist Palliative Care Service in the North and North Eastern suburbs of the Perth Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for ensuring the clinical excellence of the overall Service provided by 4 interdisciplinary teams comprised of Palliative Care nurses, doctors, social workers, spiritual care workers, other allied health professionals, support workers and volunteers. For this role you will be a collaborative and supportive leader capable of operationalising Silverchain's best care framework and all relevant clinical practice, safety, and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Senior Registered Nurse with proven leadership skills, demonstrated pallative care experience and a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for Silverchain clients in their homes. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, supervising, supporting, and providing education within the Service and be a key point of escalation for clinical concerns and provide clinical support for continued provision of quality care. The Service operates 24/7 with this in mind the role will see you participate in the Service's on-call roster comprised of senior palliative care Registered Nurses.
About you- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, manage, and support multiple teams.
- High Level Clinical skills/experience
- Demonstrated Palliative care experience.
- Previous experience in the Health or Community sector and an understanding of the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision Making Framework and the relevant safety and quality health service and palliative care standards.
- Demonstrated decision making, negotiation, influencing and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic and flexible approach.
- Current Australian drivers' licence.
