Clinical Nurse Manager - Inpatient

 This is for a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager - Inpatient to join the Nursing Administration team at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest.

• Expert knowledge and application of research and best practice principles
• Demonstrated computer literacy and an ability to utilise information systems

Position Profile:

Provides management and clinical leadership within the inpatient area Geraldton Hospital to ensure safe effective and efficient service provision. Provides support to the Coordinator of Nursing and Midwifery in developing and implementing goals of inpatient service provision including human and material resource management, safety and quality agenda and governance processes.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months (WA Country Health Service - Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program).
