Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.Position Profile: Provides a consultation service within area of expertise and is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their area/s of specialty through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, educating employees and initiating research and quality improvement activities. With professional accountability to the Nursing Co-Director Surgery, the position works collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the patient population, which includes patients with complex needs.
