We are excited to be recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to become part of a team of professionals that support people living within the community with mental health issues.

Remuneration: $2107.10 - $2176.30 per week.

Assertive Outreach Team, Pennant Hills

What you'll be doing
The CNS is responsible for providing Complex Care Coordination for consumers with chronic mental health illness, and Assertive Outreach support over a rotating roster, along with providing evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers’ recovery plans. The role is also responsible for non-clinical tasks including participation in quality improvement activities, clinical supervision and participation in administrative responsibilities as required.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
  3. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
  4. Proven extensive clinical experience in community mental health services and evidence of effective planning, implementation and evaluation.
  5. Current NSW Drivers Licence.
