An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Oncology Ward at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent full-time position.ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will:
- Act as a clinical and professional resource within the Oncology team;
- Demonstrate broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of patient care;
- Contribute to the education of staff at all levels;
- Participate in department orientation, in-training, and clinical competency programs;
- Make a valuable contribution to the hospital’s contribution to the hospital’s continuous improvement; processes as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Haematology/Oncology;
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration;
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
- Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes;
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
