Clinical Nurse Specialist

This is a  Permanent Part Time appointment  at 45.60 hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Trauma Case Manager is responsible for contributing and overseeing delivery of Comprehensive patient care for all Trauma patients at RPBG from admission to follow up care on discharge.  This Senior Nursing position works collaboratively with the Trauma Service to improve and promote desired outcomes for patients through the development of standards of practice, implementation of changes to clinical practice, initiating research and quality improvement activities; and the provision of a consultation service within their area of expertise/assigned area to all customers within the Hospital and Health Service
