Position Profile:
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is seeking to appoint suitably experienced and enthusiastic persons to the positions of Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrar - MST or Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist – MST.
Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrar - MST
In this position you will perform community-based assessments and interventions with clients, whilst providing psychological advice at a suitable level of practice under the approved professional supervision of a registered Clinical Psychologist. The role involves problem conceptualisation, treatment, planning, intervention, outcome and strategy review for clients, whilst engaging key participants to ensure cooperation throughout MST treatment consistent with strategies, objectives and values of the West Australian Child and Adolescent Health Service.
Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist - MST
In this position you will perform community-based assessments and interventions with clients, whilst providing psychological advice at a suitable level of practice. The role also involves problem conceptualisation, treatment, planning, intervention, outcome and strategy review for clients, whilst engaging key participants to ensure cooperation throughout MST treatment consistent with strategies, objectives and values of the West Australian Child and Adolescent Health Service. In addition to the above, you will also provide supervision to clinical psychology registrars/trainee.

CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). An appointee may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
