Position Profile: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with a passion for group therapy to join our team. The adult and youth inpatient teams provide psychotherapy groups from therapy modalities such as CBT, DBT and ACT for inpatient mental health patients.
You will provide a clinical psychology service requiring knowledge, experience and competence to admitted youth and adult patients and their families presenting with comorbid mental health and psychological problems. Provides consultation, education and supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees. Also provides consultation, liaison and education to other health professionals and leave cover across youth and adult mental health. Practices as a Clinical Psychologist and ensures practice is in accordance with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and EMHS values, policies.
