Will you actively create a healthier future for tomorrow?
At Medibank we’re encouraged to think big. We have a clear purpose to impact better health outcomes for our customers, patients and our community.
We celebrate diversity of thought because we want to make better decisions for our customers. As we work towards our goal of better health for better lives, we value the knowledge and contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.
The Opportunity
The Medibank Better Health Foundation (MBHF) is committed to better health outcomes for all Australians and we fund research into key areas of need for our customers and the broader Australian community.
We offer our research partners not only financial support but also access to Medibank’s expertise and experience in a collaborative partnership, and increasingly we are supporting researchers by promoting their work to our customers who may benefit from participating in relevant studies or trials.
As the Clinical Research Advisor you will support Medibank’s commitment to research into new technology, tools and programs to benefit not only Medibank members but also the wider community. For more info about the Medibank Better Health Foundation click.

- Identify relevant evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to inform dialogue with health service providers.
- Ensure the MBHF funds a range of strategic research projects that help deliver on Medibank’s broad strategic goals through a sound understanding of our business priorities.
- Focus research investment to achieve a measurable impact on disease/illness or models of care. This includes projects and partnerships.
- Ensure all projects and partnerships align and add value to Medibank’s purpose, vision and values, link to Medibank’s strategic plan and are operationally viable.
- Provide Clinical Research support as required for projects, initiatives and research-related activities/investments that have an impact on health outcomes.
