The role and duties:
In this newly created position where you will be working closely with an extremely supportive and genuinely caring General Manager and the support of 2 Clinical Care Co-ordinators, the Clinical Services Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of dedicated and professional Nurses and carers and will use their strong leadership skills to ensure a high level of care is provided to the resident in this stable home.
You will use your clinical skills and knowledge to guide the nursing team in all aspects of care planning, assessments, family conferencing, wound care and AN-ACC documentation. You will be responsible for implementing and organising education programmes and be responsible for maintaining all clinical policies and procedures and continuous improvement outcomes.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Current Div 1 registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Clinical Management role in Aged Care
- Passion for leading and mentoring staff
- Thorough understanding of aged care standards and accreditation processes
- Working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC drivers
- Previous experience working in a memory support unit (advantage)
- Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement activities
- An energetic and happy disposition with a keen desire to lead by example.
