With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Project Manager to join the Engineering team at Northern Health.This role requires the Project Manager to be responsible for the Clinical Planning and Development of a number of engineering projects for Northern Health. This position reports to the Director of Engineering & Building Services and Engineering Project Managers.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent and proven project management experience-Clinical preferred
- Demonstrated achievement at a senior level in delivering high value projects, achieving KPI's, meeting budget targets and being able to adjust to increasing financial pressure.
- A proven history of high-level leadership skills in a complex organisation including:
- Clinical project management experience and ability to deliver desired outcomes within required timeframes
- Leading change through people
- Motivating, empowering and influencing others
- Developing collaborative relationships
- Evidence of good negotiation skills and a collaborative approach with members of interdisciplinary teams, committees and groups to ensuring engagement in projects
- Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
- Ability to work with stakeholders in the facilitation of solutions, and to develop engagement and understanding, extensive experience in clinical settings.
- Ability to understand patient flow and apply clinical and operational knowledge to hospital design.
