About the role
Due to an internal secondment, we require a Clinical Support Manager on a contract basis from 29th April till the 7th July.
The overall purpose of the Clinical Support Manager is to provide Clinical, funding and documentation leadership and management support to the Residential Aged Care service stream, by supporting the role of the Group Manager Residential Aged Care & Retirement Villages.
Although this is a contract position, the Clinical Support Manager will continue to lead improvement, innovation and the development of work alongside the Group Manager and the individual Service Managers. They will provide coaching support to Service Managers, driving performance where an operational, business or financial need has been identified.
The Clinical Support Manager may also be requested to provide relief management for services or clinical services if required. Some travel may be required to our sites in Toowoomba, Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.
What we require
- Bachelor's in nursing
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- National Police Clearance
- Covid vaccination evidence
- Availability for the term of the contract
- Queensland Drivers Licence
- Ability and willingness to travel within the service region
- Experience in a Management or similar position within an Aged Care environment
- Sound knowledge of AN-ACC funding model
