This is a standalone role heavy in numbers and will be involved in regular auditing, as well as building and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business.In this role, you'll be:
- Ensuring Environmental Compliance with State reporting including implementing policy changes, reporting and auditing such as State energy efficiency schemes, GreenPower and Climate Active.
- Ensuring retail Environmental Compliance with Federal reporting including implementing policy changes and reporting such as the Renewable Energy Target
- Working with Regulatory and Government Affairs as a subject matter expert to contribute to new retail Environmental Compliance policy
- Implementing and ensuring business compliance when retail environmental policy becomes effective
- Optimizing data collection and approval processes
- A passion for sustainability and experience in a similar retail compliance or regulatory role
- Extensive audit experience and a high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in assessing data against, and reporting in line with, relevant reporting frameworks and standards
- Sound stakeholder management skills where you are able to find common ground and gain personal and professional trust whilst working collaboratively across functional groups
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
