About the role
Join the Maroondah Hospital Practice Capability Team as a Clinical Support Nurse to support Eastern Health staff and learners, including Refresher Nurses to deliver the best health care experiences and outcomes to our community.
The CSN will actively provide coaching and support, demonstrate superior clinical skills, and contribute to a culture of learning and improving every day. The CSN will be capable of providing support across different acute wards, and will be deployed to implement Just in Time Teaching strategies to address areas of clinical risk and support organisational change.
About you
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience in acute adult nursing with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse and complex professional workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilising well developed critical analysis skills to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Computer literacy and embracing of health technologies and informatics.
- At least 3 years’ clinical experience.
- Previous experience as a preceptor or mentor (desirable).
