The role:
There is an opportunity for a Clinical Support Nurse - Cardiac and Chest Pain Evlauaiton Unit ongoing 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 EFT) to join the Cardiac Nursing Services Education team at Northern Health.
The Clinical Support Nurse Cardiac/CPEU is an important leader within the clinical team, and a role model of excellence in clinical practice and life-long learning. Supporting all level of learners specifically the Cardaic and Chest Pain Evaluation Unit within the Emergency Services Divsion.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as registered nurse / midwife
- Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty (Cardiac/ED/critical care/clinical education) or working toward preferred
- Desirable minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical education
- Two years cardiac, ED, critical care experience
- Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
- Current knowledge of acute and post-acute patient care
- Experience in supervision and training
