East Grampians Health Service has an opportunity for a Clinical Support Nurse/Educator to join our team. This is a Maternity leave position, part time 16 hours per week from April 2024 to April 2025.

The Education Department works to oversee the training and development of undergraduate and new graduate nursing through working in close partnerships with EGHS staff, managers and universities. This department aims to deliver a high standard to training programs to produce a capable and effective workforce.
What we OfferAbout the Role
A Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing direct Clinical Support and instruction to, and for mentoring graduates, newly appointed or less experienced employees to develop high quality clinical care skills.
About YouThe successful applicant will need to be an excellent communicator and team player who is both positive and self-motivated. The successful applicant will require:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent clinical knowledge and skills, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to graduate nurses
- Motivation for workplace learning
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards same
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19) and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks).
