Then you could be the perfect Clinical Support Officer for our service. Specifically, we’re looking for a people person. Someone with extensive experience in providing high-level administrative and clerical support. Ideally, you will hold, or you'd be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration. Importantly, if you are an overseas resident with a temporary visa, please apply. This position will be open to you if no suitable Australian permanent resident or citizen is identified.

Here at Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, the Clinical Support Officer (CSO) role provides clerical and administrative support to the local healthcare team under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM). The role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with delegations, policies, procedures and operations systems of JH&FMHN, and in line with both the NSW Health Code of Conduct and JH&FMHN Code of Conduct.

Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accurate spelling and ability to comprehend instructions, and demonstrated ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
Demonstrated ability in word processing using Microsoft Word, preparing spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, database software and other computer applications.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
Ability to exercise initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures.
