The RoleReporting to the Executive General Manager – Health and Clinical Services/Chief Medical Officer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for coordination of health committees, Health Executive and relevant Board Subcommittees including minute taking.
- Supporting Health Executive meeting preparation, including meeting agendas, papers and catering as required.
- Coordinate rostering for Emergency Retrieval Medical Officers in Broken Hill and Dubbo locations, ensuring:
- relevant approval of the roster before finalising;
- distribution of roster to all Medial Officers on the Retrieval roster;
- organising travel, vehicle and accommodation available for ‘off home base’ shifts;
- distribution of roster to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with project administration relevant to the health operations of the organisation.
- High level communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel bookings and coordination as requested for the health team.
- Other additional administrative tasks as requested by the Executive General Manager – Health and Clinical Services/Chief Medical Officer.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in office or business administration
- Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in high-level administrative roles, preferably in a health-related field
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing interests/workload.
- High levels of proficiency in writing briefs/reports and preparing minutes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present in a professional manner to internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous Executive Assistant experience in a large, complex organisation or an understanding of the health system, key roles and functions would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team combined with effective negotiation skills.
