About Linear:
Linear Clinical Research is an internationally recognised Clinical Trial company which delivers life-changing therapies to patients and participants through Clinical Trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas. Our state-of-the-art Early Phase Centre in Joondalup is where our Healthy Volunteer Studies take place and is home to a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, project leads and clinical staff.
We are now looking for a Clinical Trial Assistant to join this team on a full-time basis.
Your Role in our Future
In this role, you will work closely with the Research Nurse and support the wider clinic team to conduct a range of clinical activities and assessments ensuring our trials are conducted to a high standard and in line with struct study protocol. You will have the opportunity to support the set up and delivery of a wide range of Clinical Trials ensuring accurate and key study data is recorded and trials run smoothly.
A full list of responsibilities can be found in the job description however some of your duties will include;
- Conduct inventory checks and management liaising with suppliers to secure equipment for studies.
- Work with the Research Nurse to monitor and observe participant wellbeing.
- Support the Project team to plan and execute delegated trials.
- Proactively record and monitor study specific data.
- Ensure Clinical Trial activities are carried out in line with strict study protocol, SOP’s and regulations.
This role will be based at our Joondalup clinic and will be offered on a full-time basis for 12 months in the first instance. As the clinic operates 7 days per week, the roster will include a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts including weekends.
Your Experience
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience working in a clinical, hospital or health related environment with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. You must also be available to carry out shift work which includes morning, afternoon and evening shifts across all days of the week.
Along with this, your application must also be able to demonstrate;
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully work across multiple and competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and data entry.
- Demonstrated experience working in line with standard operating procedures, protocols and regulations.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to work across multiple platforms.
