The Opportunity
UniSC has established a world class Clinical Trials business unit which builds the region’s collective clinical research capacity and delivers innovative and regionally relevant research in consultation with key stakeholders, including local healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical executives, and other key thought leaders.

You will be responsible for ensuring the activities relating to Investigational Product are conducted in accordance ICH Good Clinical Practice, the ethically approved protocol, UniSC CT Standard Operating Procedures and applicable regulations, legislation, and guidance.
Please note, this position will require a flexible approach, to travel between campuses and our clinical trial centres, as necessary.
You will
- support the Pharmacy Manager with the management, storage and dispensing of Investigational Products (IP) within the UniSC Clinical Trials (UniSC CT) Pharmacy in accordance with a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approved protocol and Pharmacy manual, and other applicable guidelines and policies; and
- work collaboratively with the UniSC CT team, sponsors and monitors to ensure appropriate and timely management of all activities related to Investigational Product.
About you:
You will possess exceptional interpersonal abilities and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team. Moreover, you'll take pleasure in demonstrating your proficiency in Microsoft's suite of tools and your experience with various software programs, including databases.
To be successful you will possess:
- degree qualification in Health Science/Bio-Medical Science or a certificate level qualification with post certificate relevant pharmacy work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training;
- knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and applicable pharmacy operating regulations, and guidance; and
- ability to exercise sound judgement, take initiative and solve problems.
Desirable
- previous pharmacy experience.
- prior experience within a clinical research environment.
