About You:

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Trials Coordinator / Clinical Research Coordinator within the Division of Medicine.

The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) facilitates commercial and investigator-led Clinical Trials within the Medical Division, focusing on endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, infectious

diseases, nephrology, and neurology. Our unit functions primarily on outpatient Clinical Trials coordinated by the Clinical Trials

Coordinator/Clinical Research Coordinator. This involves coordinating various functions, including scheduling appointments,

facilitating informed consent, clinical assessments, screening procedures, randomisation, processing of specimens, and timely reporting of source data and serious adverse events.

The role requires close liaison with fellow team members, Principal Investigators, Clinical Research Organisations, and other

departments.

CTU has grown organically over the last 15 years and consists of an experienced, enthusiastic, and supportive team of clinical trial coordinators, a clinical trial support officer, a research registrar, and a Clinical Research manager. This position may be appointed to at OPS4, OPS5 or RN1 classification depending on experience and qualifications.

To be eligible for this position at RN1 classification you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
