Our department boasts a comprehensive cardiology program and actively participates in research focused on acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, lipid lowering, and anti-arrhythmics.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Trials Coordinator. In this role, you will support ongoing and new Clinical Trials within our department. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing documents for ethics and governance approval,
- Educating medical and nursing staff,
- Maintaining accurate patient records, and
- Ensuring trials adhere to Good Clinical Research Practices guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Post Graduate qualification in research, health counselling, epidemiology or similar.
- Completed Certificate in Good Clinical Practice & IATA Transport of Biological Samples.
