Gallipoli Medical Research (GMR) is a world-class research facility located at the Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland. GMR supports and facilitates innovative research in human health and wellbeing. GMR is closely affiliated with the University of Queensland. 
 
Clinical Trials Unit

Our Clinical Trials unit coordinates multi-centre international Clinical Trials primarily in the disease indications of oncology, respiratory and liver disease evaluating potential treatments that are in the various stages of development. 

Due to an internal promotion, the Clinical Trials Unit is seeking a Clinical Trial Data Manager. The role supports the data management requirements of the Clinical Trials being conducted at the GMR Clinical Trials Unit in a manner consistent with the goals of the unit and in compliance with the protocol and ICH-GCP. 

Your Application

The ideal candidate will essentially have:

• Demonstrated a minimum of 2 years’ experience within Clinical Trials, previous experience in a Clinical Trials Data Manager role is highly desirable.
• Understanding of biology with appropriate tertiary qualification in the Life Science Field or equivalent. Oncology experience would be desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in maintaining Clinical Trials electronic case report forms (eg. Data entry and query resolution). 
• An understanding of the Clinical Trials process and the application of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Demonstrated an ability to review protocols, develop source documents and coordinate implementation of source documents within the Clinical Trials Unit.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, including punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
