The Clinical Trials Officer(CTO) is responsible for supporting the conduct of assigned Clinical Trials at Nucleus Network in accordance with HREC approved protocol and Nucleus Network standard operating procedures.
The CTO will work closely with the Clinical Research Coordinators and Clinical Team Leaders (CTL) as a part of the study team, to assist in the effective running of each study in order to meet the sponsor expectations and project timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Pre-Study activities - preparation of participant charts
- On-Study activities - data entry, pathology management
- Post study close out - archiving
- Participant management – participant phone calls
- Clinical Unit responsibilities
- Quality activities
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Demonstrated competence in the personal attributes of initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
Desired qualifications, competencies, and experience
- Previous experience in clinical trial study coordination or organisation
- Previous Phase 1 Clinical Trials experience
- Experience in handling pathology results, taking phone calls, data entry and archiving
