Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity to become part of our dynamic Quality Improvement team. This role will provide coordination of a new Clinical Trial project which involves 25 general practices across the Brisbane south region. This is a part time fixed term role 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 30.4 hours per week (0.8FTE).

About the Role
A typical day may involve:
- Coordination of research activities in accordance with the Clinical Trial project procedures.
- Connecting with participating general practices, including face-to-face visits and remote sessions, to provide the relevant support in accordance with the Clinical Trial project.
- Maintaining accurate record of project activities using templates provided.
- Monitoring progression and reviewing performance of 25 participating general practices in line with project aims and outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with the project team to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An understanding of research processes and experience working in the health system.
- Experience using computer software applications including Outlook, Excel and health service databases.
- Excellent written communication (including email) and report writing skills.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and initiative to solve problems independently.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to build working relationships with external stakeholders.
- The ability to adapt and manage trial uncertainties.
- Demonstrated understanding of the need to adhere to information privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Current driver’s licence.
- National Police Check.
