Senior Cloud Development Engineer
Your role

You'll be a part of our IT team based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
As a Senior Cloud Development Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing cloud solutions and production-ready software as required by the firm.
Collaborating closely with Software Engineers, the Cloud Development Engineer supports development initiatives for cloud-based applications. This role also works with the Cloud Solution Architect to devise strategies and designs that adhere to best practices, ensuring robust, efficient, and secure cloud services.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
About you
You will have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- Industry certifications such as Azure, AWS or GCP will be beneficial
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure; specifically in AI, data and functions
- Industry experience in a large professional services environment is preferable
