Cloud Engineer

• ACT, QLD, VIC - Windows, Linux systems, AWS & Azure, Python, DevSecOps
• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract - NV1 clearance required
• Architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions

Our client, a large Federal Government department based in Russell, ACT, requires a Cloud Engineer for a long 12 + 12 + 12 month contract, located in either ACT, QLD or VIC.

Duties

• Manage bespoke systems-design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud based systems, adhering to security policies and practices.
• Conduct Windows and Linux systems administration, including Operating System installation, configuration, integration, hardening, software patching, and documentation of Cyber Security Capability.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code, utilising tools such as Terraform and HashiCorp Stack.
• Utilise DevSecOps and CICD practices in design, develop, deploy, and maintain tasks.

Selection Criteria

• Three or more years experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure cloud knowledge and experience.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps knowledge and experience.
• Python coding knowledge and experience.
• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience in Cyber Security Operations.
• Kubernetes knowledge and experience.
• Terraform and HashiCorp Stack knowledge and experience.
• Positive Vetting (PV) clearance (desirable).
