- Facilitate multi-agency working groups to understand requirements, dependencies and constraints for the Identity Service design.
- Work with agencies to understand their current state and identity strategies, and make consideration for these in the architectural design.
- Ensure relevant policies and standards are addressed, and plan and design for emerging technologies (such as Zero Trust Architecture).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Skills and experience in designing and implementing cloud-based identity solutions (mandatory).
- Industry certifications and qualifications are desirable.
- Ensure all work meets agreed timeframes, quality standards and quality control measures.
- Identify and document project level risks and issues. Escalate risks and issues, and seek advice from project team leadership.
- Provide architectural guidance in the development of new and the modification to existing products and capabilities including leading the creation of solution architecture documentation for a multi-agency Cloud Identity service.
- Design and engineer solutions and undertake impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
- Provide technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration. Evaluate request for changes and deviations from specifications and recommend actions.
- Ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.
Contract terms: Contract term of 12 months, with two 12 month extension terms at the Commonwealth’s discretion.
Security Requirements: Be an Australian Citizen holding a current Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance or have held a PV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) OR Holds an active or reinstatable Baseline clearance or above and consents to undergo a PV clearance process upon commencement in the role.
