Position Overview
Exciting opportunity to lead Cloud transformation!
As Cloud Transformation Lead, you will oversee the establishment of the Court’s new Cloud platform team. You will be responsible for the delivery of strategic Cloud initiatives that support the Court’s major digital transformation project, the Digital Court Program (DCP), as well as wider Cloud adoption across the Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court and National Native Title Tribunal.
Reporting to the Program Manager – Digital Court Program, you will be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide and have access to the Court’s flexible work arrangements.
You’ll link strategic planning to practical action and ensure the ongoing review and enhancement of Cloud maturity at the courts. Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the establishment and operation of the Cloud Platform Team, ensuring that strategy, capacity and capabilities are identified, developed, and maintained.
- Lead the design, development and technical implementation of a range of Microsoft Azure and related Cloud systems, including establishment and alignment with new and existing governance and policy arrangements.
- Convey complex technical concepts to broad audiences, including senior stakeholders, to ensure that cost, risk management and sustainability measures are communicated and endorsed.
- Ability to iterate and work flexibly to ensure that strategy and focus adapt to suit changing circumstances.
Selection Criteria
- High-level leadership skills, including experience leading a team in the development and delivery of complex technical and strategic objectives.
- Experience in the design and delivery of Enterprise-level transitions to Microsoft Azure-based Cloud services, overseeing the implementation robust, practical and supportable solutions.
- Experience in the design and delivery of strategic technical transformation programs
- Experience with cyber security best practice, including compliance with Whole of Australian Government standards.
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- The IT Division is geographically dispersed and experience in working in such teams is essential.
Other requirements
Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications in IT would be well regarded.
Salary
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated for the successful candidate based on qualifications, skills and experience.
