As an experienced CNC Machine Operator, the successful applicant will be efficient, have an excellent eye for detail, and demonstrate a proud work ethic. They will possess innate problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Regular tasks:
• Set up and manage the Wood-tech CNC machine to perform different jobs, including cutting, drilling, grinding and milling.
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the company's guidelines.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Provide timelines to the design team.
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
• Ensure that the results of the machining process align with client expectations.
• Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.
• Follow and adhere to strict WHS processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and functional work area.
• Secure the Warehouse of the evening.
• Maintain regular communication with the manager.
• Store materials for jobs in an organised manner.
• Track and report inventory to lead detailer.
This position is a lead role and would suit someone with a minimum of 3 years experience. However, we are open to all applications.
Our warehouse supplies joinery for renovation projects of all sizes and flat-pack retail products.
Cabinet-making/assembly experience is an advantage.
