We are seeking to hire a CNC Machinist/ Programmer who can proficiently program and operate cutting-edge CNC machines in accordance with technical drawings, while maintaining our high-quality standards.

About the role
- Ability to interpret intricate drawings using leading software like AutoCAD, Solid Works and Mastercam
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture components using your skills in Machining operations using, CNC Turning, Milling Machining, Horizontal Boring Machines
- Set up and manage jobs efficiently, and adhering to production job schedules
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM programming whilst preparing for next jobs.
- Strong QA skills in precision measuring tools - micrometres
- Demonstrated ability to complete scheduled tasks in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Skills and experience
- Relevant tradesman qualifications - Fitter & Turner or Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, and must have CNC Machining competencies.
- Proven minimum of 15 years tradesman operating and programming CNC machinery.
- Highly skilled at setting up, operating and machining large workpieces.
- Experience in manual lathes, milling machinery, and CNC milling
- Experience with operating CNC horizontal borers
- Experienced with Heidenhein 530, Fagor controls and Fanuc controllers
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Uphold stringent WH&S protocols & adhering to company policies and procedures
