AddressJob Vacancy: CNC Machine Operator and Product Prototype fabricator

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise various CNC software to operate machines such as CNC laser sheetmetal cutter, CNC router, CNC pressbrake
- Ability to weld and fabricate
- Take CAD designs in their DXF form and produce the various parts
- Work closely with business owner and CAD designer to implement changes and improvements to support implementing new products into production
- Create prototypes and conduct product testing to ensure functionality, durability, and safety.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide design specifications and support throughout the production process.
- When required fill in and help production team with manufacturing orders
Qualifications:
- Must have experience operating CNC machines. Specific experience in sheetmetal equipment an advantage
- Fabrication skills such as welding and operating manual machines highly valued
- An ability to think outside the box
- Knowledge of working with Australian standards and regulations is desirable. Specific knowledge of Playground Standard is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for creating innovative, safe, and enjoyable playground equipment.
